To all community Groups in Newry, Mourne & Down,
Opportunities for capital funding for community projects will shortly be available from the Rural Development Programme.
A series of mandatory workshops have been organised across the district for potential applicants to the Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership.
All those who have registered interest with us will receive personal notification of the workshops.
The workshops will be focused on getting the details of the programme presented and facilitating, where required, one to one advice for potential applicants. The format of the sessions will be a general overview of the programme and we will then break up for theme specific presentations. Officers will be on hand to provide support and guidance to applicants. We will not be entering into general discussion on the programme at the sessions as time is limited and we need to concentrate on getting the relevant information across. If general information/advice is required we will note it and get back to the individual concerned.
