Over 5,000 charities are now registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, and there’s a few thousand more waiting to be  registered.  Charity registration is only the beginning of the new requirements as registered charities will have to report to the Commission on an annual basis according to specific regulations.

County Down Rural Community Network in association with the Developing Governance Group and the Charity Commission would like to invite you to a free seminar focusing on the new accounting and reporting rules and regulations that have come into being which all charitable voluntary and community organisations need to be aware of.

This seminar will also focus on the importance of good governance within charities and present the newly revised Code of Good Governance.

DATE  : Wednesday 16th November 2016 from 7.00-9.00pm. Registration and refreshments at 6.45pm

VENUE : County Down Rural Community Network, Ballymote Centre for Community & Business, 40 Killough Road, Downpatrick, BT30 6PY
