County Down Rural Community Network held an online Annual General Meeting today, joined by board members, community groups representatives and staff. Despite COVID we had a very good turnout, and we are pleased to welcome both returning and new board members to CDRCN. The annual report was presented in infographic format, demonstrating the volume of work that has been undertaken at CDRCN in 2019-2020, and can be accessed below.
The event also featured community speakers – many thanks to Mary Mageean from Portaferry and Johnny McElroy from Lislea Men’s Shed – their input was first class, and shows the amazing work that is ongoing in communities during even the most difficult of times. CDRCN continues to work with community projects and community/statutory partnerships right across the districts, and we look forward to another year of making a positive difference.
